Join PHAS in this FREE bird walk partnering with Philisptown Rec Dept, in search of late fall migrants at the Quarry Pond trails adjacent to Glassbury Court Subdivision. This small park lies in a valley and provides good habitat for a variety of migrating passerines including warblers and sparrows. This is also a good place for migrating raptors and in some cases waterfowl on the pond.
Directions : When driving North on US Route 9, take a right onto Revolutionary Road towards Glassbury Court. Instead of continuing into the subdivision take your first right (almost immediate) and drive down to the small parking area adjacent to the Quarry Pond.
