Join Putnam Audubon as they venture through the beautiful grounds of Stonecrop Gardens in the heart of spring migration. After a fierce winter come out to enjoy the bird song of the returning breeders that call this piece of Fahnestock their home. We should enjoy several summer breeders such as scarlet tanager, rose breasted grosbeak, baltimore orioles, and a variety of other colorful songbirds. May is always exciting as there is always a potential to see migrating birds heading north to their breeding grounds, and the diversity and number of species is often excellent. As we look high for these wonderful birds we will also be able to enjoy the beautiful grounds and gardens at Stonecrops.
